Texas-Tulips is a beautiful tulip farm located in Pilot Point, Texas (about an hour north of Dallas).
It’s the perfect destination for anyone who loves flowers and wants to experience the joy of walking through endless rows of colorful tulips.
Getting There
Texas-Tulips is located about an hour north of Dallas and about 30 minutes northeast of Denton.
You can easily get there by car, and there is ample parking available on site. The address of Texas-Tulips is 10656 FM 2931, Pilot Point, TX 76258.
When to Go
Texas-Tulips is open seasonally from late February through early April.
During this time, the tulips are in full bloom and the farm is at its most vibrant. However, it’s important to note that the bloom time can vary from year to year depending on weather conditions.

Admission and Tickets
Admission to Texas-Tulips is $5 per person, and children 12 and under are free.
You can purchase tickets online in advance or at the gate when you arrive. Texas-Tulips also offers a variety of photo packages for those who want to capture their memories on camera.

Exploring the Farm
Once you arrive at Texas-Tulips, you’ll be greeted by endless rows of tulips in every color of the rainbow!
You can grab a free woven basket for your tulips and begin your “tiptoe through the tulips” experience and pick as many tulips as you’d like for a fee of $2.50 each.
The field makes the perfect place for all the instagram photos and there is also a windmill, a rustic barn, and a vintage truck to also capture in your pictures.
You can also bring your own picnic and enjoy lunch on the farm or purchase snacks and drinks at the on-site concession stand.
History of Texas-Tulips
The History of Texas-Tulips Texas-Tulips was started by the Van der Laan family in 2014. The family immigrated to the United States from the Netherlands, where they had been in the tulip farming business for over 40 years.
They brought their expertise and passion for tulips to Texas, and Texas-Tulips was born. The Van der Laans are committed to sustainability and use environmentally friendly practices on their farm.
In addition to tulips, the farm also grows other flowers, including daffodils, hyacinths, and ranunculus.
The Van der Laans also offer their tulip bulbs for sale, so you can take a little piece of Texas-Tulips home with you.
Tips for Your Visit
Here are a few more tips to help you make the most of your visit to Texas-Tulips:
Wear comfortable shoes.
You’ll be doing a lot of walking on uneven ground, so it’s important to wear shoes that are comfortable. Some comfy sandals or sneakers are your best bet.
Bring sunscreen and a hat.
The Texas sun can be intense, especially in the middle of the day. Make sure to protect your skin and eyes from the sun’s rays.
Bring your favorite hat to get the sun out of your eyes and elevate your look 😉
Come early or late in the day.
The farm can get crowded during peak hours, so if you want to avoid the crowds, it’s a good idea to come early in the morning or later in the afternoon.
Weekends can also get crowded starting in the afternoon so keep that in mind.
